AAU Architecture and Design

Research at the Utzon Center is anchored in the institute of Archiceture and Design at Aalborg University.

The research center holds amongst other things a library, and rapid-prototyping workshop and in time there will be an archive with Utzon´s drawings, digitalized so they can be available to a broader audience.

The university will hold workshops and conferences in the Utzon Center.

The university plays an active and open role in the center, and thereby creates life, and an atmosphere of innovation and new ideas.

Openness gives the research center opportunities, which are not always welcome in established university environments.

The university and the education gets an opportunity to present itself to the population in a new and unique way.
