"From childhood dreams to olympic gold - a maritime journey"

The exhibition ”From childhood dreams to olympic gold - a maritime journey" sets focus on Jørn Utzon and the families sailing on the Limfjord, The Royal Yatch Dannebrogs visit to Aalborg, as well as there are pictures of the interior from the Royal yatch.

Material about Aalborgs upcomming summerevent "The Tall Ships Races 2010" are also on display.

The exhibitions fourth and very interesting subject is the olympic gold sailing with pictures from Jesper Banks olympic gold winning victory in Sydney in 2000, and the dramatic Danish 49´s battle for gold at the Olympics in China, where we have borrowed the torn sails and the broken mast, which was mounted the original 49ér boat.
