The Golden Fur Pin 2010
The Golden Fur Pin is a design competition hosted by Kopenhagen Fur's centre for creativity, innovation and craftsmanship: Kopenhagen Studio. Since 1999, design talents have been invited to test their talent when it comes to designing styles in fur.
This year, the competition has been exclusively aimed at design students from Denmark's leading design schools. The students have been competing in three overall categories: Clothing, Accessories and Homewear.

Kopenhagen Fur is one of the world's largest fur auction houses and the leading supplier of mink skins. Each year, Kopenhagen Fur offers around 20 million mink skins as well as fox, swakara, chinchilla and sable skins.The company is a co-operative owned by Danish fur farmers. Kopenhagen Fur has some of the highest standards in the fur industry with a unique sorting and grading system which ensures the best fur quality in the world.

Kopenhagen Studio was established in 2005 as Kopenhagen Fur's centre for creativity, innovation and craftsmanship. To further support innovation within the fashion and design industries, Kopenhagen Studio works continuously with everyone from students to leading design houses, striving to find new ways to use fur.
Kopenhagen Studio also cooperates with the world's top design schools in the training of designers.
