LEARN MORE ABOUT CHINA IN AALBORG

East moves closer to the West. Friday the 18 September opened the Confucius Institute for Innovation & Learning at Aalborg University in the Utzon Center.

The purpose of the Institute is to offer courses, public lectures and seminars in Chinese language, business and culture. The chairs were filled up, when the rector of Aalborg University, Finn Kjærsdam, opened the speeches at the opening. This was followed by Mayor Henning G. Jensen, the Chinese Ambassador Xie Hang Sheng, former Danish ambassador to China Christopher Bo Bramsen, headmaster of Beijing Normal University Zhong Binglin and Xiangyun You, head of the Confucius Institute. In connection with the opening the painter Esben Hanefelt revealed a brand new painting that he has made especially for Confucius Insitute.
