The future waterfront

An exhibition about Aalborg and Nørresundby´s waterfront is opened in the Spidsgatter shipyard in the Utzon Center.

The exhibition gives an overview of the projects, which are all parts of the process of the transformation of the waterfronts in Aalborg and Nørresundby from industrial areas to active parts of the city's recreational and cultural life.

The exhibition consists of a wall with a large aerial photo, where all the many different projects - around 20 – are described, as well as illustrations of the port's history and a description of some of the ideas behind the project.

The second part of the exhibition is a number of wall pictures, the idea of which is to describe each project, as they become topical. We begin with an exhibition about Nordkraft- 12 wall photos and a few models.

The exhibition is aimed at the citizens and everyone interested. There will be free entrance to this part of the Utzon Center.
